General Provisions
These terms and conditions govern the use of the EyesProtector application, created and developed in Warsaw (Poland). The application is an original project realized under the BlackLine brand.
EyesProtector has been designed with the highest level of data isolation in mind. Accordingly:
No Internet Connection -- The application does not require and does not initiate any network connections. All analytical processes take place locally on your device (Offline).
No Data Collection -- We do not collect, store, or process any data regarding you or your hardware, including location, microphone audio, browsing history, or system files.
Isolation -- Although the application uses the FaceTime HD camera for detection, the microphone remains inactive, and camera images or other data never leave the device's temporary cache (RAM).
Local Privacy and AI
We wish to explicitly state that EyesProtector does not use external Cloud-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems or external servers. Our tool is based on local Machine Learning models that operate 100% on your computer. The application does not transmit your data to any Large Language Models (LLM) or online facial recognition systems. All "intelligence" of the program is contained within the application and does not require a network connection to function.
Website Privacy
This website (eyesprotector.com) serves an informational role and is the official product support page. As creators, we declare that we do not use tracking scripts, advertising cookies (tracking cookies), nor do we collect any data identifying users browsing our site.
Note on Visual Materials and Final Product Appearance
Animation* -- The animation is for illustrative purposes only. Product mockups were used. Some applications and interfaces presented in the animation are strictly non-commercial and serve to demonstrate system functionality in real-world usage conditions.
Actual Appearance -- The appearance of the User Interface (UI) in the final software version available on the Mac App Store may differ from that shown in the animation due to macOS system updates and the continuous improvement process of the EyesProtector application.
Legal Disclaimer
The software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The creator does not guarantee 100% detection effectiveness in all conditions (e.g., very low light, lens obstruction). To the fullest extent permitted by Polish law, the creator shall not be liable for any lost data, privacy breaches by third parties, or work interruptions resulting from the operation of the application, although the application is equipped with safeguards intended to prevent improper operation—improper being defined as undesirable actions.
Trademark Note
Apple, the Apple logo, MacBook, iMac, and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. Graphic materials depicting Apple products were used solely for the purpose of presenting the EyesProtector software interface. The application is not affiliated with, sponsored, or endorsed by Apple Inc.
Intellectual Property and Patent Protection
Patent Protection (USPTO) -- The technological solutions, algorithms, and unique methods of user interaction applied in the EyesProtector software are subject to patent protection filed/registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Copying, imitating, or utilizing protected solutions without an official license is strictly prohibited and subject to sanctions under international patent law.
Trademarks The following elements are the exclusive intellectual property of the developer and are legally protected as trademarks: The name "EyesProtector" and the dedicated application logotype. The application icon, including its unique color scheme and graphic composition. The name "BlackLine" and the brand logotype under which the software is distributed.
Prohibition of Infringement The user is granted no rights to use the aforementioned trademarks, names, or logotypes for commercial purposes without prior, written consent from the owner of the BlackLine brand. Any attempts to impersonate the brand, create confusingly similar icons, or use the name in a misleading manner will be legally prosecuted.
